SP2 setup error

I downloaded SP2 full edition onto a CD-R. I am running XP Home Edition and
when i try to install the service pack i get a Service Pack 2 Setup Error
saying: Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make
sure the Cryptographic service is running on this computer

SP2 won't install for me, can someone please help, thank you.

Michael,

Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Double click on
Cryptographic Services and Start the service. Then try to do the install.

I have tried to install from Updates, and from the automatic update. I get a
simular error, it download but when it trys to verify it say's unable to
verify file, or something like that. I will try a 3rd time and right down the
errors.
Please help . . . . . . . . Ag
