Enable/disable quick launch

I would like to perform a "Show quick launch icons"-task using a VBscript or such,
but I can't seem to find where this information is stored?

I've tried regmon.exe and filemon.exe to monitor registry- and fileactivity on my
computer, but nothing seems to change as I change and apply the setting?

Does anyone know how I can access this hide/show-flag through registry/memory
or a file?

Hi, Did you receive an answer for your problem ? I got the same problem
I found the change in registry but i cant apply with VBS. Do you know i
a gpo exist for just enableng the quick launch.

Are you able to right click on the task bar and set the "Quick Launch
Toolbar" ?

Try playing with the key...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

the key name is "TaskbarGlomming"

If you do this on the fly the explorer process has to be restarted t
view the changes.
