Default Boot up problem during rebuild

Just installed a new board and chips. PC posts OK, but the screen just sits
there. I cannot even get into CMOS (to change boot sequence to DVD so I can
reinstall XP). No warning messages or extra beeps.

Suggestions? Thanks

If you cannot get into the BIOS then you have big-time
hardware problems. WindowsXP comes in much, much
later. Take the motherboard back to the place where
you bought it.

Nothing to do with XP probably. Try booting from a floppy, if even this
does not work then it is not an OS problem.
