Default Remote XP install

I have a 'ultra protable laptop' meaning the floppy and
DVD drives are external

The HD died so I now have a new hard drive and a new copy
of XP Pro, however, the external drives are boxed as I am
about to move house.

Is there anyway to 'remotely' install windows? I have an
external USB enclosure that fits a laptop drive.

I have read people mentioning ghosting an image etc, but
is a fresh instalation possible from my desktop PC to the
USB enclosure ?

Thanks

You use three switches to install from a net drive. If D:
is the target, and G: is the net drive. G:\i386
\winnt32 /tempdrive /makelocalsource /s:G:\i386
