Is there a way to start an app up at startup and minimize to the tray?

Place the shortcut to the program in your start up folder (Start, All Programs,
Startup), then try right clicking the short cut, select Properties, and then select Shortcut Tab, where it's says run "normal window" try "minimized". Just a suggestion to try.
