Default Fax not working after setting wireless access point on host Pc

G'day
I am having a problem with my XP Home fax utility on my host PC
I have recently set up a wireless access point for our laptop using a DI-624+ as the access point by passing the router utilitys as we are currently on an ISDN internet connection. Since I set this up I now cannot access or use my fax, I have tried unistalling and reinstalling but now I dont think I even have the fax program on the system as the Fax file in communications is now empty. I dont want to share my fax with the laptop but I do want to use it on my host PC as I used to before setting the wireless access point up. Is there something that I may have done or not done that has caused this to stop performing as it used to, and what would be preventing me from reinstalling the fax utility using my XP disk
I have also searched the files for the file " fxcfgwz.dll " and the search returns nothing as if the file does not exist on the system at all, it does bring up the "fxsapi.dll" in system 32. I dont understand what has happend can some one help
Kaz
