Default License

Hi

I have just installed xp on my computer and it won't take
my product key. Guess it's been used before. How can I
get information on an additional license. Basically, how
much does it cost and what it is called.

Thanks

Hi Karen,

You can find information about getting additional Windows licenses from this
site:
http://www.microsoft.com/products/i...2-9c711c533e0c#

However, I'm not sure that you'll need to purchase one.
Is Windows telling you that you're entering an invalid CD Key, or are you
getting a different error message.

You may want to verify that you're using the correct letters and numbers in
the CD Key. Sometimes it's very easy to confuse certain characters. Gs can
look like 6s, and Bs can look like 8s, etc.
