Hi
I have just installed xp on my computer and it won't take my product key. Guess it's been used before. How can I get information on an additional license. Basically, how much does it cost and what it is called. Thanks |

Hi Karen,
You can find information about getting additional Windows licenses from this site: http://www.microsoft.com/products/i...2-9c711c533e0c# However, I'm not sure that you'll need to purchase one. Is Windows telling you that you're entering an invalid CD Key, or are you getting a different error message. You may want to verify that you're using the correct letters and numbers in the CD Key. Sometimes it's very easy to confuse certain characters. Gs can look like 6s, and Bs can look like 8s, etc. -- Mike Kolitz MCSE 2000 MS-MVP - Windows Setup and Deployment Remember to check Windows Update often, and apply the patches marked as Critical! http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com Protect your PC! http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect "Karen" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:414901c42b29$06872470$a101280a@phx.gbl... > Hi > > I have just installed xp on my computer and it won't take > my product key.
