Default Installing Documents and Settings On A Different Drive

Can I install WindowsXP so that the Documents and Settings folder is on a different drive than the default drive for Windows? Or, can I relocate Documents and Settings after the install?

You can certainly move your "My Documents" folder; right click on it and
choose "properties" the option to move is right there.

I guess that's not exactly what you asked, but it may solve your
underlying issue...
