XP SysPrep Hardware Lock

When we use a DOS-program which uses a LPT-hardware lock
(Sentinel like) the system recognizes the lock and the
program runs perfectly.

However, when we use SYSPREP to prepare the system for
enrolment on the same machines (with the same hardware
key/lock) the following message comes up



C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\HASPDOS.SYS

Program Execution Terminated - Cannot Find Key
Please Attach Hardware Key and Try Again

Hit < Enter > to Continue.
**********************************************


What can be the problem be? We are absolutely clueless!
