I am currently running 2000 professional on my computer
and would like to install XP professional. Do I just purchase the Up grade CD or do I have to purchase the entire OS program. My current computer hardware is more than sufficient to operate Xp professional. |

If you already have a version of Windows, I'd buy the upgrade version.
It'll save you money, and it's possible to do a clean install from upgrade media if you can provide Proof of License (such as a previous version of Windows installed on the hard drive, or by providing a CD from an older version of Windows during XP Setup). -- Mike Kolitz MCSE 2000 MS-MVP - Windows Setup and Deployment PATCH YOUR WINDOWS NT/2000/XP/2003 COMPUTERS! http://www.microsoft.com/technet/se...in/MS03-026.asp "Mike" <mheidt@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:088c01c3691f$6c5ca760$a101280a@phx.gbl... > I am currently running 2000 professional on my computer > and would like to install XP professional.
