Default Upgrade

I am currently running 2000 professional on my computer
and would like to install XP professional. Do I just
purchase the Up grade CD or do I have to purchase the
entire OS program. My current computer hardware is more
than sufficient to operate Xp professional.

Default Re: Upgrade

If you already have a version of Windows, I'd buy the upgrade version.
It'll save you money, and it's possible to do a clean install from upgrade
media if you can provide Proof of License (such as a previous version of
Windows installed on the hard drive, or by providing a CD from an older
version of Windows during XP Setup).
