You say all programs are shown then it's frustrating because all are not shown and then you want to know how change it so that programs are not shown? -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the newsgroup so all may benefit. Rick is on about the bullshit advertising of all the GREAT (not) features offered within the panes seen after doing LC>START ....*_And_* he is right,, its !^%$&*! confusing AND frustrating ! ! Ever tried teaching new users in groups how to handle this Great Feature? ...pharken near impossible,, let me tell you ! Rick,, Right click anywhere in the Left Pane after you click on Start and select "Properties" from the Menu. In the dialogue choose " Revert to Classic Windows Menu" or words to that effect. You will then have the same Start Menu you may well be used to from earlier versions of WinBloes. And as an aside,, you might well consider getting on your proverbial bike and finding another support group, preferably one without MicroShite in the header. I havnt been in these MS groups for years but nothing seems to have changed. It is still the same ol same ol . A bunch of shiny arses polishing their hollow egos with word games and a bunch of useless propaganda links. I wouldn't trust these guys with setting a digital clock alarm. You would probably end up sleeping through till Xmas !! ........jes my two bobs worth, Your Call :-p GT -- Dr Zeus ------------------------------- *did* I tell a lie? Some old Hoary Goat of A Seppo |
