I searched this on the forums and found that it was driver failure. The one problem is i cant access my computer, not even on safe mode.
One person mentioned faulty RAM which i know all about because it happened to me at an earlier date, which i replaced. So this time I bought some new RAM thinking it would fix the problem, but the message still appears... Looking at the bios options, i noticed the CPU (i have an amd athlon xp 2000+, 1.8ghz) temperature was 64 degrees C... Does anyone know if that's the problem, and could anyone suggest a decent fan/heatsink. Also, i find that when i leave my computer off for a while, then attempt to restart it, it manages to log on for about a minute before displaying the usual blue screen message. Another thing that points to cooling. p.s. The fan's RPM is around 2250... Cheers very much. Last edited by LordArnold : 15-05-2005 at 05:31 PM. |

I don't know if it's any use to anybody, but i occasionally get a blue error from win32k.sys... im not sure if it has anything at all to do with it.
