Doesn't seem bad for the money, although I can't imagine games would run too well on it. For that price with a 17" TFT, thats pretty good

Exclamation It's ok ...

It's an 'entry level' PC priced accordingly ... take the TFT away and you have a very basic system by today’s standards. Onboard Video should be avoided, especially if you will be playing any games.

Forget about free this-n-that, I can assure you, you aren’t getting it for nothing.

However, for a complete "shop bought" system it has a good price ... just look a little closer and have a really good look under the hood.

Dell are the only, pre-built, company I would/could recommend … but, really look close as to what you are getting.

If it's the 3000 it has no graphics slot, (AGP or PCI-E) if you want a graphics card you'll have to get a PCI which isn't to clever. I'm waiting for a Dell bargain at the moment, nothing great seems to be available. This is about all I can find, but it's nothing incredible

Dimension 5000 (D04502)
P4 3.0ghz
512mb DDR2 400
160gb harddrive
48x cd rw
no sound card
on board vga
19inch tft monitor
keyboard and mouse
dell printer
free delivery

total price £469

No Graphics card, but you can add a stonker at a later date as it's PCI-E, and it's a nice 19" screen
