Default Prefered folder structure in "Program files" folder

I wonder what the logo program says about the folder structure under
"program files".
Is is preferable to have one folder with the company name and then
list and then list all product thereunder?
Such as:

[Program files]
|
[CompanyName]
|
[Product1]\program1.exe
[Product2]\program2.exe
[Product3]\program3.exe

or is it better to list each product directly under "program files"?

Such as:
[Program files]
|
[Product1]\program1.exe
[Product2]\program2.exe
[Product3]\program3.exe

or are there any other preferable strucure??

Thanx for any information about this!
