Default More Help

I too am having trouble with the NT Authority System
shutting off my computor repeatedly because the RPC keeps
on being terminated. It keeps doing it over and over and
I can only acess my computor for a couple minutes each
time. I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Yes, this is the "Blaster" worm. Your system is infected.

Please see http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp

If you visit Windows Update often, then you would not have this problem.
You can set Windows XP to automatically download and install the latest
Windows Updates.

Please see http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/ for information on how
to set it up, and protect your PC in many other ways.

Thanks,
Karl
