14 days to expiration of login password

each time I login to my pc, I get a message popup reading
that I have 14 days till expiration on my password. I
would not like to change my password. I need to know what
I need to do to keep my password as is. I currently have
windows xp.

You need to get your administrator to set your password
to never expire

You can reduce the amount days in which this dialog box comes up by
changing the following registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"passwordexpirywarning"=dword:00000005

From this example you'll only be notified five days in advance that'll you
need to change the p/w.
