Default Re: Looking for machines to run HCT test on 2003 server

There are several systems which support this configuration. For example:

Intel SRSH4 Server Platform

4 - Pentium IV MP Xeon Processors (1.6GHz)

6 GB of memory

S1 and S4 sleep states

However for Windows 2003 logo testing you can use a dual processor system
which supports hyperthreating and high memory. For example: HP xw6000 or
xw8000. Also WHQL posted an erratum which allows to complete the ACPI S1
Stress, ACPI S3 Stress, and NDIS tests on an alternate multiprocessor
system. See erratum 1026 at
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hwtes...ype=err&ID=1026
