effectively driving the needle deeper into our collective arms. Hummmmmm.

Default I Am Astounded! ! !

Personally, I think Bill and his gang finally got it
right! My first 'puter was a Win95 machine. I slowly
and painfully upgraded to '98. My second machine, a
Gateway Performance PC, came with '98 SE. Through slow,
but less painful updates, it worked pretty dang good.
So, through Win 2000 and ME I stuck with 98SE and swore
that the only way I'd upgrade my OS was if 98 completely
stopped working. I Then bought a laptop (from Gateway)
with XP on it. Begrudgingly, I started using it and
realized that it is quite user-friendly. I even started
to like. Enough so that I bought another copy and loaded
it on my old Gateway PC. I stuck the XP disk in and sat
back with driver disks in hand, ready for a day or two
of reloading my OS. Aproximately an hour and a half
later, my old Gateway was ready to reboot. All the
hardware drivers were loaded (correctly) and everything
worked like a champ. This all happened about 6 or 7
month ago and everything is still running smooth. Don't
knock it 'til you try it.
