If it is from a reputable company, install it.
Logo testing does not "proof" a device driver. Logo'd drivers are as susceptible to failure and bad interactions as un-Logo'd drivers. The Logo program does provide an additional testing environment that catches a lot of problems before consumers get them. However, it is more of a "piece-of-mind" placebo for the end user than an absolute certification and proof that a driver will not fail. Since it is time consuming and a bit costly, companies have a tendency to release pre-Logo'd drivers, generally the same binaries minus the certificate, before they have passed WHQL. -- Gary G. To follow on to Gary's note, it may be that the driver is actually unsigned or it could be you are having a problem that several others have had. For this latter issue, I have included a link below that is supposed to help resolve that. 811263 Error Message: The Software You Are Installing Has Not Passed Windows http://support.microsoft.com/?id=811263 Brad Carpenter [MS] "Gary G.
