Default music echoes

hi, I have a sound problem I need help with. I don't remember what I did to
the sound setting. when I listen to the music on the computer, the music
echoes. It is like listening to the music in a big giant empty warehouse. I
remember there is a setting to change the setting. however, it was years ago
and i forgot where it is.

Does anyone know how to change it back.

Thanks.

You did not state your brand/make soundcard.
If you are using a Creative (SoundBlaster) soundcard, open the Creative Wave
Studio and under Audio see if Echo is checked. If it is, uncheck it. You can
also run Creative Diagnostics.
On other soundcards open Sounds and Audio under the Control Panel and
check Audio for your settings.

I have Sigma Tel C-Major Audio built-in sound chip for my Asus M6B00N series
laptop. I hope it helps.

Thanks,

Did you check the settings in Properties like I stated in my first response?
