Default STATIC WHEN PLAYING SAVED MUSIC

I've just recently experienced a problem when playing all saved music on my
system whether i play them on itunes or windows media player i get large
amounts of static sounds they get worse when using the internet or when the
computer is doing other tasks. but when i play the original cd'the sound is
ok.
plus if i burn any of the tracks and play the on another audio device they
sound ok aswell.
any help or ideas would be much appreciated!

Try a different power outlet for your PC, in other words further away from
your speakers and the CPU. Some speakers and their wires are poorly
insulated/shielded thus creating static at certain frequencies.
