Default internal application error


My media player does not play anything but gives me an message that says an
internal error has occured. please help

You did not state what version of WMP you are using. Thus............

I have been using windows media 9 and it never gave me problems this problem
started after upgrading to WMP10.

Check the website of your soundcard, the drivers may need to be updated.
