Windows media Changed my music and i can't change it back

Windows media is nice and all, but i'm reaaaallly not
happy with it at the moment.... it offered me to convert
my music into some i55 bitrate or somet like that,,,,,,,
and now i havta be online to play any music, it doesn't
keep the codec on the computer......>

How can i eather get this codec, or change my music
back.........

Please contact, we don't have cable so this is driving me
crazy,,,,,

suggestion open you original player and see if you can find a way to make it your default player. Xp also lets you do this. using set programs and access defaults.
