I had tested "Play All" in "Music Tasks" folder on my XP SP1(ja). By using Regmon(http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/regmon.shtml), it seemes that when pressing "Play All", Windows system is reading registry key below. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{72eb61e0-8672-4303-9175-f2e4c68b2e7c} I had disabled the key above by adding semicolon (;{72eb61e0-8672~) , and "Play All" function also been disabled. # But there was not "hourglass flash" which has been reported # in some "Play All in Music Tasks disfunction" case. Next, by runnning "regsvr32 /i shell32.dll" at "start" > "run", "Play All" function was enabled again. 2. On Japanese WinFAQ BBS(most famous BBS Board of Windows trouble shooting, in Japan), there is an article that SONY's PC Support suggested "regsvr32 /i shell32.dll" and "reassociate filetypes to WMP", in the case of "Play All in Video Tasks disfunction", and it worked fine. http://winfaq.cool.ne.jp/logs/2k/0180.html#124660 3. There is another article on japanese BBS Board that suggests shell32.dll is the key of this problem. http://pc2.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/win/1063897318/608 |
