Sound

I have 2 P-3 IBM PC 300GL's that are Identical. The
sound is on board. I did clean installs on both. My son's
has no problems. Mine has no sound. I have researched the
WMDaud.sys. It is not running in my directory service.
When I install the correct sound driver, the same one that
is on my son's, the computer immediately reboots. I have
purchased a new PCI sound Card and it does exactly the
same thing. I'm pulling my hair out on this one. Any help
will keep my barber in business.
