media player 9

I recently downloaded the window media player 9. When I
go to "copy to cd", the message comes up "no device
detected. Yet,when I go to options and under the device
tab My d drive is listed.
Please advise.

may help here - recognition for burning is different than just recognition
as a valid CD drive. :\
