microphone cant produce sound

Default microphone cant produce sound


guys! help me out... no sound was produced when am using
my microphone. i believe its not a microphone problem
since it will work on other pc. i noticed this problem
when i start to use voice chat. is this an audio hardware
problem?

Make sure the input slider for the microphone is activated as the recording
source (double click on the loudspeaker icone in the systray) and that you
have it plugged onto the correct hole (not as stupid as it sounds)

If need be when on the Recording tab, click on Advanced and tick the 20dB
boost. Click on OK and then re-boot.
