After the uninstall of the older drivers, restart the PC in Safe Mode (use
F8 at startup). Then install the new ones. -- Cari (MS-MVP Printing, Imaging & Hardware) www.coribright.com "ken" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:304601c4a591$4c82d4a0$a501280a@phx.gbl... > i am trying install drivers for my graphics card, so i > have to uninstall my old ones first, but ever time i > restart my computer windows xp automatical reinstall the > old driver. i have atuo update turned off. > |

gets run on startup. http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/f.../autoruns.shtml -- Rehan www.rehanfx.org - get transitions and effects for Windows MovieMaker "ken" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:304601c4a591$4c82d4a0$a501280a@phx.gbl... > i am trying install drivers for my graphics card, so i > have to uninstall my old ones first, but ever time i > restart my computer windows xp automatical reinstall the > old driver. i have atuo update turned off. |
