unwanted auto install on restart

Default unwanted auto install on restart


i am trying install drivers for my graphics card, so i
have to uninstall my old ones first, but ever time i
restart my computer windows xp automatical reinstall the
old driver. i have atuo update turned off.

After the uninstall of the older drivers, restart the PC in Safe Mode (use
F8 at startup).

Then install the new ones.

You can use the "Autoruns" from Sysinternals to examine and control what
gets run on startup.
