I'd like to take some of my DVD's and convert them to
files. Can someone recommend a good program that will do this. Also,is it better to use a program that rips and converts in one step or is it better to use a two step process (ripping with one program and then converting with another). Thanks Vince |

If your looking for some good freeware tools then www.doom9.org has alot of
info about converting DVDs. Personally I use DVDDecrypter to get the .vobs, then use FlasKMPEG to convert to either AVI or WMV depending if I want to edit anything out of it or not. Both are free downloads. But remember to consult your morals and only do DVDs you own, otherwise its piracy.
