Hi
I have used Ulead Video studio 8 successfully on my Win2k laptop. It can capture nicely on the firewire. Today I bought a new firewire card for my desktop and it is XP with SP2, and of course the cursed Movie Maker 2 installed. The Ulead keeps complaining Video Capture Plug-in is in use or not installed properly. Using MM2 I can capture the video from my Sony Cam (PC107) but the quality sucks compared to Ulead capture. So... gentlemen, start writing me your views please? Thanks HAT |

I'm not a gentleman but....
If you capture in DV-AVI using MovieMaker2 it should give you exactly the same resolution as capturing in DV-AVI format in uLead Video. Obviously if you have the settings at WMV, then the resolution is going to be much poorer (but the file size will be correspondingly smaller). -- Cari (MS-MVP Printing, Imaging & Hardware) www.coribright.com "HAT" <HAT@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4720C169-4A23-47D9-A9CF-46FE27FC8C8C@microsoft.com... > Hi > I have used Ulead Video studio 8 successfully on my Win2k laptop.
