Radion sapphire 9600

Hi, Can you help?, just bought the above graphics card and when i try to install i get pin stripe lines on the screen in the bios screens. i can get it in all resolutions and colours in xp pro but the colours are all strange and washed out, im trying it with a msi k6 delta board 400mhz mem,xp 2800 333mhz pro,120 gig sata raid drive, i've also tried it on another computer with the same problems, i've updated every driver and downloaded the official ati card drivers, reduced agp speeds from 8 to 4 and also reduced agp in bios to 64m. im lost. thanks in advance. First check that the card is properly seated in the AGP slot
Next check the Monitor cable to make sure none of the pins are bent and it is
connected properly
