Not getting clips

I/ve just used the Movie Maker 2 for the first time. I
downloaded a tape from a DV camcorder. The box for
creating clips was checked.
Download went well but where are the individual clips?
I also hit the "create clips" from the toolbar and it
took about 8 minutes but no clips were seemingly created.
If they were, where are they?
What am I doing wrong?
