Default Dvd playback jumpy tried everything, please help!

I've tried fixing dma, changing color and resolution,
cleaning, reinstalling and updating drivers, and
reinstalling programs all to no effect. Does anyone have
any ideas that might help? Thanks

What else do you have running in the background? Seti at Home, Antivirus,
Email software etc etc. Run as little as possible, and disable screensaver
mode.

I have the same issue. Cannot play a DVD with any
quality with any software. Just started this problem
recently. WMP 9.0 has decnet sound, but flickering
video. Interactual player has no video at all.

Also having issues with mpeg's played on wmp. They're
jumpy too.

Have tried reinstalling EVERYTHING from software to
hardware. Help!
