New Video Card Installation

What is the correct proceedure for changing out a video
card's drivers? I had an ATI 7500 that I changed out for a
Gforce Ti 4600. I downloaded and used the card's latest
drivers.

It seems to work fine with the exception of playing Combat
Flight Simulator 3. The screen goes black during play.
