Default microsoft...thanks for NO support


Well... there ARE other options (Novell, UNIX, Linux,
BeOS....), but they suck too, and yes, I said "too".

What's your question?

It does play them. The question is why doesn't your computer play them using
WMP9

Well, that's not very descrptive of your problem! That's like phoning a
mechanic & saying "my car quit, how do I fix it?"

If you want help, then you should give a clear and concise explanation of
what you are trying to do, what exactly is happening, and the exact text of
any errors your are getting. We can't see your screen you know!

That said, a common problem with AVI playback is a lack of the DiVX codec on
your system. This codec is not provided by Microsoft and is available from
www.divx.com. WMV should play out of the box though, unless the file is
corrupt...
