Default Permission settings on Windows Movie Maker

I have completed a movie using Windows Movie Maker and
would like to save the movie to a dvd. Initially, the
progam aaid that there was no recordable device, but
after inserting a blank dvd in my HP300 internal dvd
writer, it then told me that the "permission settings"
will not allow me to save to CD and would I like to save
to my hard drive. I would like to save the movie on my
dvd. Is this possible? (I have previously saved Movie
Maker movies to my hard drive, but they take up too much
space.)

Hal,

You can't burn a DVD directly from MM2. You have to save to your hard drive
first.

See the DVD Software section of www.papajohn.org
