Dear Group,
I am wondering if the following scenario is possible. I have a firewire card installed on a windows 2000 machine. My windows XP machine which is on the network doesnt have firewire card. So I am wondering if it is possible to share the firewire card so that I can use my windows XP machine to make the movie as I dont have a movie making software on my windows 2000. Thanks, RSR |

If you have OfficeXP (with PowerPoint) on the Windows2000 PC, you might want
to use Microsoft Producer.... it kind of does the same thing. http://www.microsoft.com/office/powerpoint/producer/ Then copy the captured file over to the WindowsXP PC for editing purposes. Alternatively just purchase a firewire card for the XP PC, they're cheap enough on EBay!
