Default DVD Region Settings Not Changing

My name's Michael Bailey and i'm having a major problem
with my DVD player.

Whenever i insert a DVD into the Disc Drive, and open My
Computer, The DVD does not register. The reason why, i'm
assuming, is that when i go into the DVD player
properties, it's changed to a different Region. Now, I
still have four changes left, but when i go to change it
to Region 4 (the region for Australia), It tells me that
It's "Unable to update region setting. Please make sure
the drive contains a region 4 media and you have
administration privilege." This still happened even after
i made sure a region 4 media was in and that DO have
administration privilege. I haven't Changed the region
ever before, and I don't know what i'm doing. I've also
double-checked Computer managment and it doesn't register
there either.

Can anyone help me? Email me PLEASE
(michaelgbailey@hotmail.com) if you know anything.

Thanks
- Michael Bailey
