Default Echoing


Can anyone tell me how to make my speakers stop echoing?
In every program i run whether it's music, a messenger,
or a game it echoes. can anyone help me?

You have your microphone turned on, which is feeding back into your system.

Double click on the loudspeaker icone in the task bar then Options >
Properties > Recording > uncheck Microphone (select another input) and see
what happens.

I have the same problem it sounds like im in a tunnel. I
dont have a microphone so i really dont know what to do.

Do you have any other sound software installed ? You may have inadvertantly
turned on a filter.

Failing that try lowering the sliders on the sound control then bringing
them up one by one. You
may be able to pinpoint the culprit that way.

What sound card are you using - on-board or PCI ?
