Default shut down/restart problem

Whenever i click " turn off computer" and once i click restart/shutdown, it
will stay on " windows is shutting down" blue screen for about 2~3 minutes
before it shuts down or restart. Can somebody help me solve this issue?
thank you =)

Read here:

And please don't post the same issue twice, it won't get you help any faster.

Do you have "clear page file on shutdown" enabled?
Navagate to this registry key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory
Management

"ClearPageFileAtShutdown"=dword:00000001

For a stand alone home computer where only you and your family use it there
is no need to have this enabled.

If the value is as listed above click on the dword and select modify,then
change the 1 to a 0 (zero) and reboot.
