What do I need to tranfer files from an old computer to a new computer are their any wires that I have to buy to do the tranfer.

Much depends on how you are planning on connecting them. Do you have a
network set up? Or are you looking for how to connect them?

You could use a blank CD or a network connection - or a portable drive -
Really depends on what you have available-
