Hello all,
I have a user who's personal laptop has XP Home installed. I am trying to map a shared domain printer, but the credentials used to map the printer are lost upon reboot. Is there any way to map this printer persistently with domain credentials? Thanks in advance. |

Have him upgrade to XP Pro; XP Home cannot do this, XP Pro can.

No, but you can run a start up batch file to connect.
See the Tech Tips and Downloads page at http:// [Remove this and spaces] www. gtscomputerservice. com I have a sample batch file there called "EasyMap" that might help. -- "BACI Tech Support" <techsupport@bamh.org> wrote in message news:uFm1I5eGFHA.2976@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > Hello all, > > I have a user who's personal laptop has XP Home installed.
