limited use cannot print

i'm using windows xp professional operating system --
with canon 5500 multifunction printer.
i have setup an computer administrator which has no
problem access printer.
then their a limited user that doesnot have any access to
the printer in the limited user mode -- in error a the
limited user is search/looking for canon bjc_4300 printer
that doesnot exist.
everytime the printing is requested error messages
1. canon bjc_4300
error occurred during file creation
2. microsoft visual c++ runtime library
runtime error
program: c,\program~1\progr~1\canonc~1\textbr~1
\bin\instan~1.exe
abnormal program termination
i have tried everything i can think of but nothing workes
to remove/change the path of this limited user to the
printer except change it to any computer administrator ---
please help!!!!????

First of all you need to get rid of any remants of the BJC-4xxx drivers that
seem to be hanging around .....

You might also try a complete uninstallation and reinstall of the Canon
New drivers are at

If the Limited User still cannot print after this, try right clicking on the
Canon printer in Faxes and Printers in the Control Panel, and selecting
Properties. In the Advanced tab, set it to Print Direct to Printer instead
of using the Print Spooler.
