Dos printing and timeouts

We have a DOS application running under Win XP Pro. When
we generate certain reports to the HP Laserjet 4000
printer, the printer prints the report on multiple pages,
probably due to a timeout issue. I have tried adjusting
the timeout on the computer and the printer, without
success. Any suggestions?

You can try to redirect the print job to a file.
Looking at the generated file you can see if it really is a timeout problem.
