Default DOS based network printing

I am trying to "capture" LPT1 and redirect it to a
network printer with an IP address (rather than a path)
and a cryptic printername. I made the port
10.13.14.397:PORT1 so maybe XP just calls it PORT1.. I
have no idea. But I have searched the knowlege base and
read Article - 314499 which uses a
\\printserver\printername path for redirection.

Any ideas?

remove 27 from address for reply.

Thanks
