Printers dissappeared.

hello,

There is an issue here with an XP Pro machine, that it
will lose all installed printers (from Printers and Faxes)
on the workstation. Logging off and back on will resolve
the issue until it happens again. All of the printers are
network shared printers from a 2000 server.
After a little bit of searching I saw that starting and
stopping the spooler serive will "magically" make the
printers re-appear.
This seems to happen however on a regular basis... and I
will have to either get the user to log off, or I will
have to restart the spooler service for him several time a
week.
Why would this happen?
