Printing Error

We have come across the following problem, can anybody
help.

When printing from excel/word 97, on an XP platform to a
HP 4000 printer. We get the output condensed, which fits
on 1/4 of an a4 page. If you print this from 95/98 the
prints fits correctly on an a4 page.
