Well as you don't say what problems you're having we can't assist. Are you
using an analgue modem and is it connected to a standard phone line? Have
you made sure that your modem and fax software is properly configured?

And no, I don't believe you have "tried everything". If you had, it would be
working (unless, of course, you don't have a modem...)
