Encarta 2000 and XP Home

I recently installed XP Home on my Gateway 550 mghz.
Pentium 3 with 256 ram. I was not able to load my
Encarta 2000. I then called MS Support, which I was
informed by the person I spoke with that this would be a
free support on a toll free line. I was transferred
twice and ended up speaking with someone in India. (He
confirmed his location) The person was very polite but
spent 99 minutes trying to understand and help me with my
above mentioned situation. Finally he gave up. I never
did get Encarta 2000 to work on XP. Then I received my
phone bill and I was charged toll rates for the 99
minutes. Needless to say I am extremely dissapointed.
Can you suggest any help? Thanks, I will check back soon.
