When I update windows xp, my printer (HP-G85) quits working

Default When I update windows xp, my printer (HP-G85) quits working


When I download an update from microsoft for Windows XP
Pro, my HP G-85 multifunction printer, scanner, coppier
and fax, will no longer print. I have spenat hours on the
phone with HP. They tell me it is a windows issue. The
printer is only 6 months old, is still sold in stores, how
can it be outdated?!?!

a) Which update?

b) Have you tried correctly uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer
after the update using the following instructions:

Hating Microsoft and Bill Gates . Guess he is wanting
another pie in the face. I can't install Direct X 9.0a it
won't pass Windows certification but it comes from
Microsoft's site WTF!!! It says to contact System
administrator , Thats me (and I am logged on) . I
contacted myself and it still doesn't work . Thanks FOR
THE HELP MICROSOFT!
